Welcome to Galaxie Skate Center!
Com'on, get your SKATES - ON!!! Roller skating has been a fun Richland Center activity for more than 30 years and Galaxie Skate Center is proud to carry on that tradition! Galaxie Skate Center is located at 1215 East Haseltine Street in Richland Center Wisconsin, on Hwy 14 between Madison and La Crosse. It was originally built in 1972 under the name of Richland Roller Rink and features a beautifully finished 9,600 sq ft Maple Hardwood skating floor. We feature Open Skating on Friday's and Saturday's, a "Family Night" featuring the best music from the 70's, 80's & 90's on THURSDAY nights, Saturday "Family Matinee" on Saturday afternoons, as well as live concert events, Holiday Specials and Christian Skate Nights the first Sunday of each month. We can also host PRIVATE PARTIES and Wedding Receptions! Galaxie Skate Center is a DRUG, ALCOHOL and TOBACCO FREE facility. ___________________________________ NEW for 2008! Family Skate Sessions! Thursday Evening 6 - 9 pm Sat Afternoon 2 - 4 pm Bring the family! Admission and skate rental for up to 6 immediate family members (with at least one adult skating) for only $12! Make it a PIZZA Family Special for $22 and get a 16" one topping Pizza and a pitcher of soda pop! Without the family rate, $3.00 per person and $2.00 skate rental. _____________________________________________ SKATE LESSONS! Sat 4 - 6 pm We will be offering SKATE LESSONS on Saturday afternoons from 4 - 6 pm for those who are interested in learning to skate, learning MORE about skating, refreshing your skills or learning NEW skating skills! No need to sign up, simply show up at 4 pm and be ready to LEARN! Beginners to advanced are welcome. Have you wanted to learn to go backwards? Skate more gracefully? Learn a 2 step, glide waltz or other skating skills? How about learning JAM skating? Simply come to our lesson time and be ready to learn. Price is $10 for 2 hours of private lessons and skate time, the price includes lessons, skate rental and you are welcome to stay for the Saturday night 6 - 9 pm session at no additional cost, so that you can practice what you have learned.
